I forgot my password setting up my sons first phone he knows nothing about it yet supposed to be a surprise

I forgot my password setting up my iPhone I do not have any saved data on this phone. It is an Apple iPhone 8 and I am trying to set it up for my sons birthday present. How can I just reset this stupid password. So I can give my 13 yr old his present. I still need to go through and set up the parental controls but I am held up on this. Help.
