Just upgraded my son's phone to an iPhone 12. I have a parent account for his apple account, he doesn't know his password. I cannot retrieve/rest his password because his old phone is beyond repair. How can I reset his password??

If he forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if he can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
