Macbook pro early 2011 power on issue

Hello again sir loner,

Been working on my mac without The battery for like 3 years because its damaged And everything was ok and the windows 10 was successful as you mentioned a month ago and im thankful , but I don't know why i was so curios to re install the battery and run smc reset trying to fiX it, anyway the battery didnt work so i removed it, but sadly now my mac wont turn on without the battery, the sleep indicator light is turning on and off and keeps like that , and the charger is plugged and green,

Note : also to add if put install battery The mac turns on normally and stays 0% charging then after a while will shut down by it self.

attached shows the the ways i did for resetting.

Hi RiadK,

Thanks for your post! I see that after recently re-installing your MacBook Pro battery, the unit will not power on unless the battery is in the machine. I see that you already performed an SMC reset on the unit but the issue persists.

If you have not already, try performing PRAM reset, refer here:

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

If this does not resolve the issue, I suggest you Contact Apple Support for further support.

Hi RiadK,

Thanks for your response. I suggest you perform the PRAM reset with the battery out of the machine to see if that will resolve the issue. If that does not resolve the issue, then I would install the battery, power the unit on, then Contact Apple Support for hardware diagnostics.

Hello sir,

well noted but should i try this with or without battery, since the battery is not charging anyway, and what i really want is to work on this laptop without battery like i used to do before, it was working before suddenly when i re installed the damaged battery my mac wont turn on with or without battery, and i understand that the unit now wont turn on unless the battery is in.

Also to add that the sleep indicator light blinks 3 times in a row.

Hello sir,

thanks for reaching out, the issue is that i cant perform the PRAM reset because the mac wont turn on although the fan in the motherboard is rotating then after a while it stops it turns and stops and The same goes for the sleep indicator light .

Thanks for your post! I see the unit will not power on without the battery. I suggest you install the battery, then Contact Apple Support for more assistance.
