Using Windows 10 to create a USB bootable Installer For MAC OS X

Good

I'm new to MAC OS and recently obtained a Imac 24" Early 2008 Model and found that there was issues with the OS of which i booted into the recovery and erased the HD to do a fresh install and that is when all went wrong.

I've tried to use TRANSMAC to create the USB bootable installer but upon booting into Startup mode no USB drive is listed.

Can anyone assist me with downloading the correct OS or a supported upgrade OS for my Imac and how to use Windows 10 to create the USB bootable installer?

Thanks Jarrod
