Need to pair but don’t have a remote.

I’m trying to pair my phone since I lost my remote. But I need my remote to go into the settings on the Apple TV to type in the code.

Please help!

You need a remote to do that so you will need to replace the lost remote or find it the old fashioned way.

Pairing Apple TV with iphone remote Hi, I lost my Apple TV remote and want to use the one available on my iPhone in Control Center, but I am unable to pair it. When I try, I need to type the 4-digit code (that pops up on the iPhone screen) on the Apple TV itself, but I obviously can’t do that without a remote... Any tips on how to solve this? Thanks!

If you have an Apple TV 3rd generation or earlier, then yes, you absolutely need a remote to set up the remote app on an iPhone. You can either borrow one or buy a new one.

No way around it.
