Facetime photos

The FaceTime photos don't work they don't save to my camera roll. I've tried resetting my settings and phone and I've turned off and on the live photo settings on FaceTime and I still don't see the photos on my camera roll.

I have the same problem and when I take photos through FaceTime they don’t save anywhere. I am running IOS 13.4.1 on both my iPad and iPhone XR with no updates available. I have tried to reset the photo on FaceTime app and restart both but still not working 😞

Use FaceTime Live Photos

With iOS 12.1.4 and later, and iPadOS, you can capture moments with your friends and family using Live Photos during a FaceTime video call. Here's how:

  1. Start a FaceTime video call.
  2. Tap the shutter button  to take a photo.
  3. Go to your Photos app to find the photos you saved.

To save FaceTime Live Photos, all participants need iOS 12.1.4 or later, or iPadOS. Not all features of FaceTime Live Photos are available with earlier versions of iOS. FaceTime Live Photos doesn’t work with iOS 11.
