Always on microphone while screen recording?

Is there a way to have the microphone be always on while screen recording?

I just ended up recording 4 videos for teaching but forgetting to enable the microphone. Since I need to do it everyday, I think it will be useful to not have to go and turn the microphone each time I try to record audio.
