Not able to get MacOS catalina

I am not able to get macOS catalina on my 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.I have more than 150GB storage left and everything is fine yet when I press upgrade now it takes hours to get to around 1Gb of the download and then it shows error. How can I get the update?

Try while in Safe Mode. Use an Ethernet connection if possible.
