Ever since installing Catalina 10.15.4 my 2017 iMac Pro keeps restarting when it goes to sleep

Try Safe Mode followed by a normal restart, as per > How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

If that doesn't help, try installing the 10.15.4 Combo Update over the top of the current 10.15.4 standalone update.

I contacted apple support and they said to restart in safe mode. It's in safe mode now but I haven't checked if it restarted. They said I'd have to reinstall the OS if that doesn't work. Seems like a lot of work on a brand new computer though :(

Did it help? I have the same thing, and I'm suspecting it's something that a re-install won't cure, so I wouldn't spend time on trying to solve it. Maybe try avoiding putting the computer to sleep if possible? You can still sleep the display.

Hoping the upcoming Catalina 10.15.5 update includes a fix for this.

I have been having this issue out of nowhere the last couple weeks. Thought I'd solved it after contacting my IT team and resetting the PRAM last week, but it happened again tonight. I have a brand new MacBook Pro 16" so this is very frustrating. I've also had a lot of issues with the Touch Bar and needing to restart often because it just doesn't appear sometimes. Wishing I hadn't had to get the new computer when I had no issues with the 15".

Mine does the same got it in April. I have the Applecare. Never had this kinda issue before since Sierra. Apple tech wanted me to erase my machine not really wanting to do that. Hoping the update will fix it. Wish I could revert 10.15.3 easily. lol

Also experiencing kernel panics with my macbook pro 16" esp when on video conferences like zoom and google meet. Updated to latest updates/patches. Sent machine to apple for repair and they claim "no issues were found".

My MacBook Pro 16 it still crashes with Catalina 10.15.5. Does anyone else have the same result after the update?

I turn off that for prevent sleep and no problems but I have an updated the 15.5
