There's no sound

There's no sound coming from my mac

I tried going to system preferences > sound > output but its not muted so i don't know why there's no sound

Get help if the internal speakers on your Mac don't make sound

Read and follow everything but before you contact Apple Support, reset that Mac's NVRAM: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on Mac - Apple Support
