Old Mac OS X 10.4.11 bought used no discs.

How do I reset to factory settings without DVDs. It’s a Mac OS X 10.4.11 want to erase to start as blank slate then do up grades if possible!

Without Discs you can't really.


Open System Preferences>Accounts, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.


In the same pref pane highlight your old account, click the little minus icon to delete the other user.
