Good afternoon everyone,
My wife has an iPhone 5S, a really superb phone. We have today changed or SIM card for another connection supplier.
On checking the 5S it will not ring when a call comes in. The vibration works ok. I have tried going to settings, chosen a ring sound - when testing the ring sound it works. When a call comes in (from my iPhone) the 5S vibrates but no sound/ringing tone.
Any suggestions please?

Have you checked the ring/silent switch on the left side of the phone? It may have gotten accidentally switched while you were changing the SIM. See: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
