logic pro reverting to original tempo

Hi,

Just started using logic pro but im using it to make DJ mixes. so basically I use audacity to change the tempo of a song without changing the pitch. And so when I export it and then drag and drop it into logic pro it plays in the original tempo from before I changed it even though its a whole new file that was exported from audacity. How do I get around this? Im new to logic pro by the way so dont be too wordy please 😂
