My screen on my iPad is cracked and i wanted to know if i had apple care for one Nd if I didn’t could i still get apple care

If you didn’t buy Apple Care + within 60 days of purchasing the iPad it is too late now. You can check your coverage here. Sign in and take a look.
You can generally enrol in the Applecare program only within 60 days of purchase. After this, it cannot be retrospectively added. As with any insurance policy, you can’t add cover and make a claim for pre-existing damage - as perhaps you imply is your intent?
