screen is cracked

I bought iPhone 11 pro max, but when u buy it's coming to apple care right? and also I bought a sprint insurance, and made an appointment, and they said " u need to buy applecare+" to fix you screen! is 9.99 per month or 199.00 anual. OMG but I still have apple care and insurance. its correct that information? i need buy applecare+? thank you
