Received an email from Apple free for 12 months for my purchases. Question is that if I receive the offer, am I obliged to continue the subscription on the 13th month?
No. Note that the free trial will end immediately if you cancel it; if you choose not to be a paid member, it's best to wait until just over 24 hours are left before cancelling.
