issues with opening files
I recently upgraded to Catalina and I now cannot open any saved word documents, this is a problem as all my Uni course work is saved on my MacBook

Catalina cannot run 32-bit apps. If you have Word 2011 you'll need to upgrade to Word 365 or Word 2019.
