Mac OS infected call support

I have a pop up on my Mac. Saying it’s infected with a virus and to call 1-888-****-0915. Is this a scam or light Apple number

i just received a message on my MacBook Air that I have spyware on the computer I just received a pop-up that said my MacBook air was infected with spyware and to call a number 1-833-251-****. Infected with Trojan Spyware?? I received a notice that my MAC has been infected with Trojan spyware and that my passwords are compromised. the notice leaves me a phone number to call, but I am reluctant to trust it. Help! [Edited by Moderator]

Apple phishing scheme or legitimate? My MacBook Air set off bells and whistles and plastered a WaRNing on my screen that my MAC OS X is infected but if I call 1-888-308-**** immediately Apple Helpline will fix the problem. I’m afraid it’s a scam. Can anybody provide real help? [Edited by Moderator]
