I can’t sync photos in albums in folders since catalina

I have organized my photos in albums. I also created folders in App Photos to organize my albums. For syncing i use the option to select some albums. In Catalina this won’t work. It doesn’t sync the selected albums that are put in a folder. Is there a work around ?

Catalina: Photo albums and books don't show up in finder for iPhone sync Hi, I have upgraded my MacBook Pro to Catalina and now I'm not anymore able to sync my custom photo albums and books, because they just don't show up in the finder. When I open the Fotos and Books apps the content is definitely there. Does anyone know what I can do about it? Thanks!

Syncing Photos after Catalina I asked this question before, but it warrants another thread since there doesn't seem to be an answer. Ever since the syncing goes from iTune to Finder, I can't seem to sync photos from my library to my devices (iPhone and iPad). I clicked on "Sync photos to your device from" and "Photos", and clicked on "Selected Albums", but after each sync all photos from my devices would be removed, while gaining none from my computer. However, my music and books don't seem to suffer the same issue. Does anyone else have the same issue?

several users reported this problem. there seems to be currently no fix. take albums you want sync out of the folders or use iCloud Photos to sync all albums.
