So before the Catalina update i only recently noticed that my sound hadn't been working so i tried many methods and they didn't seem to work and apparently i have no output or input devices so im not sure what to do and i need your help.
If you don’t see Internal Speakers as an option in the Output window, contact Apple Support.

Try an NVRAM reset:
Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
If that doesn't work, boot into Recovery Mode and reinstall Mac OS:
