My Macbook keeps disconnecting from wifi after it goes into sleep mode. I see the signal but there's no
actual connection and I have to keep turning off Wifi and back on to reestablish it. Anyone know of a solution?

WiFi radios are turned off during Sleep mode, part of saving energy. Your issue is most likely not being able to reconnect to your WiFi network when waking from sleep.
