I upgraded to Catalina....can no longer take screen shots.... anyone know how or why this changed from Command, shift. 3

thanks for your response..... I noticed my clock was not working either....... I turned off my computer and back on......
clock works and command shift 3 now takes a screen shot.... maybe should have turned it off first before asking question....

That's odd as command shift 3 should work as I've used that commend on my own Mac to take screenshots.
Can you try command shift 5, does this work?
You can also take a look at the article how to take screenshots on your Mac as it lists other keyboard shortcuts.
