MacBook Pro right click

Hi,

why the right click on the integrated trackpad of my MacBook Pro has suddenly stopped working?

If I use Magic Mouse it works as usual.

Is it broken?

Trackpad doesn't select I have a new Macbrook Pro and twice the trackpad has stopped. The cursor moves and tracks but it wont click or select so nothing opens and I cannot move windows around. The first time it suddenly came back to life The day of my Genius bar appt. so I didn't take it in. The laptop keyboard and Logitech keyboard works fine, but the MX mouse also only moves the cursor around like the trackpad and won't execute any commands when I tap it. So wouldn't you think this is a software issue? If so, couldn't it be fixed online rather than in person? Thanks!

MacBook Air m1 trackpad left click unresponsive Why I am getting this new problem. Brand new computer bought 4 months ago from Best Buy. worked great for about 3 months becomes very unresponsive when I left click/1 finger click or tap does not work any more. Only way I fix it is by restarting the computer but happens again in a few minutes if use. Frustrating experience.

Check you preferences

>System Preferences>Trackpad>Point and click

toggle things on and off, make some changes here and end up with your preferred settings.

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
