old MP610 - CANNON 2008 use for new MacBook Air 2018

Why is my printer not able to use for the new MacBook Air I purchased? I do not wish to buy a new printer, when the printer I have is still working and excellent condition..

Contact Canon to see if they have a printer driver that will work with your MBA. If they don't, then you need to buy a new printer.
