iOS could not match caller ID with Myanmar country code in phone number

A mobile number with full mobile number is saved in a contact (eg: +95 9 123 1234)
When a call or SMS comes in with a local number (eg: 09 123 1234), iOS cannot identify the contact and will not recognize the caller ID. (iOS can correctly identify the contact if caller ID matches with the one in the saved data)
The only solution I have is to save the mobile number in two formats in a contact. It is very frustrating.

Any solutions around? The issue still exists with iOS 10.0.1.

Update your iPhone. And contact your carrier.
