iTunes shuffling playlist issue

When I shuffle a created playlist and look at what the lineup of the songs will be, I don't see every song that is in the playlist. They are there in the playlist, just not in the lineup of the shuffle. Any thoughts? They are not checked as skip on shuffle. It is like the shuffle list is a subset of the playlist.

Shuffle only likes some songs in a playlist I have a playlist of around 190 Christmas songs in my Music Library. When I Shuffle this playlist, I always get the SAME 20 songs from the playlist. The order among these 20 varies, but it's always the same 20. The remaining 170 songs never appear. I checked some of my other playlists, and didn't run into this problem.

New playlists created in iTunes or the Nano will not shuffle I have a PC running iTunes 12.12.2.2 syncing with a Nano 5th generation (A1320) and any new playlist I create in iTunes or on directly on the nano (software ver 1.0.2 which iTunes reports is the most recent) will not shuffle. I have tried creating playlists on the Nano using on the go playlist function (saving playlist when done) as well from within iTunes then syncing to the Nano. At the top of the playlist is the Shuffle button & when I use the click wheel to select shuffle, the first song plays and shows song 1 of 1. Previously created playlists start playing a random song showing 1 of x as appropriate for that playlist. Thank you for your help, tmfdia

If you're looking at the up next list that won't necessarily expand to show the entire up coming queue.
