Screenshots not working on MacBook Pro

I am doing a lot of screenshots creating Standard Operating Procedures for my business and a few days ago, the shortcurts for screenshots stopped working. When I click on 'Shift+Command+4' it tabs to another window in Chrome. In Excel, it does nothing.

I have:

1) Rebooted the laptop several times.

2) I have checked the shortcuts are ticked in 'Keyboards' section of System Preferences

3) I have cleared NVRAM by holding down Option, Command, P+R.

Still not working. Any ideas?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Try Refreshing Your Finder:

Click: The Apple Icon (top left-hand corner of the screen)
Click: Force Quit...
Click: Finder (bottom of the list)
Click: Relaunch button (bottom-right of the window)

Try an External Keyboard (Apple Brand):

1. Shut Down the Mac

2. Plug in the Keyboard

3. Boot the Mac

4. Log In

5. Take a Screenshot Once More

Thanks. I tried refreshing Finder and that made no difference, however the functionality returns with an external keyboard. Which is good, but I very rarely use an external keyboard. How do I get the functionality back on the built-in keyboard please?

Technical Assistance: Chat with Apple and Request a Link: Get Support -- Apple

I would chat with Apple, and ask them for the link site on the Apple domain to visit and get the drivers for your Mac's keyboard. Perhaps, they were deleted. Use the link above.
