What is Home Sharing?

Do I need to set up Home Sharing to listening my Apple Music library in all my 3 devices; (Not at same time)?

I only have iPhone, Apple Watch & Apple TV; and only one Apple ID.

Home sharing and Apple Music I am an Apple Music subscriber and I currently have Home Sharing enabled on my Mac (Catalina). On my iPhone and my Apple TVs (all 4th gen) I can see my own content, but I cannot see any downloaded Apple Music content. All my devices are connected to Apple Music because I can always use the app, but I like Home Sharing because the offline characteristic of it is appealing to me. Any help would be appreciated.

So is Home Sharing no longer a feature under IOS 13? With the update (what a poor term for making so many things on my iPhone harder to do) to iOS 13, Home Sharing no longer appears as an option when using Music on my iPhone. Yesterday I was able to listen to music from my iMac's iTunes on my iPhone using Home Sharing. Today I cannot. Is there a hidden setting I'm missing? Is this useful and intuitive feature no longer supported because the Apple programmers have decided I'm not allowed to use my iPhone the way I used to and I have to use some new and different app, just because? Am I just SOL?

See Use Home Sharing to share iTunes content with other devices - Apple Support. You might want to set up home sharing so you can access your iTunes library from your Apple TV.
