Problems with using my IPad Air 11” M3

My “iPad Air 11-inch-M3(purchased Oct 2025) is a much worse performer than my earlier “IPad Air 5th Gen (purchased 2022)”.


(1) It is much slower.

(2) It’s touchscreen is less sensitive(I have it for just a little more than a month)

(3) The “Numbers” app that I use frequently, that is heavy with formulae, is far less responsive. After each data entry, I have to shut down and reopen Numbers for the entry to be visible.

(4) Frequently the Numbers app says I am offline, when actually I am very much online.


I need help in fixing these issues, otherwise I’ll have to say that Apple has begun producing duds.

Something is obviously wrong. Apple may not be living up to "it just works" the way they used to but this doesn't sound normal. Have you tried an appointment with the Apple genius bar?


I wish Apple would go back to "it just works". They need to spend more time making things work correctly before they release them and, for the few bugs that make it through, fix them in a timely manner instead of ignoring them and continually adding new features and making unnecessary GUI changes that end up causing new problems. I liked when they were not like Microsoft. In Microsoft's defense, they aren't in control of all the hardware like Apple is. Apple has no excuse for their software not working on their hardware.
