Regarding Apple Store gift card use clarification in short (for India)

I live in India. can i buy ipad, MacBook with apple gift card which I recently brought from Amazon but unused. I tried multiple times to search where is option for gift card, searched every page for checkout until last payment page on Apple website but didn’t got it. Is it available is physical Apple Stores of Bombay or Delhi. Answer in short if gift cards are allowed to purchase physical apple items in India. If yes how many gift cards can I use max per order, example if I have 1500rs multiple gift cards, can i get iPad 11th gen from it, combined?

No.

If you're referring to an Apple Gift Card, it can't be used outside the country it's intended for. Apple doesn't accept them in India.

If you're referring to an App Store card, which is available in India, it can't be spent on hardware.

What Amazon Store did you purchase the Apple Gift Card? Was it the Indian Amazon Store? Apple Gift cards are specific to the country or region of purchase.

Typically, you can use up to 8 gift cards for a single purchase. There may be additional restrictions and you should contact Apple Support in India for specific restrictions and/or limitations.

Someone please explain why people buy gift cards for themselves to purchase Apple products and services. Why not just buy the item outright instead. Is it about hiding the funding source? I’m stumped about the reasoning.

When I was managing a store, people would tell me they didn’t like carrying cash or they had a hard time saving funds and it forced them to save for the device etc.
