Apple magic keyboard compatible with iPad Air M3 2025 13 inch

Yes, I found this out tonight. I asked before buying if it was backlit, I was told yes. So I bought it and now I find out (after nearly 1.5hrs on support) that it is NOT backlit... what?? For this price? Shameful. I'm returning the 2 I bought after being told they were backlit.

Get the previous Magic Keyboard model, the one for the iPad Air M2. This model had backlit keys (but doesn’t have the functions row of keys). You won’t find it on the Apple website but other resellers still have it.

This is the Magic Keyboard compatible with it: Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 13‑inch (M3) - US English - Black - Apple. Note that the keyboard is not backlit.
