How to fix CarPlay connection issues with iPhone 17 Pro after iOS 26.2 update?

My new iPhone 17 Pro has recently been updated to iOS 26.2. Since the update, Siri, Apple Maps, iTunes, Google Maps, Spotify, will not connect to my CarPlay on a 2025 Suburban. Connection was possible before the recent update. I have deleted and reinstalled all apps on my phone as well as the car. Still connection problems. I have been to Verizon, seller of the iPhone, and to the Chevrolet dealer to try and rectify and correct any install of software. No relief from connection problems. Is there a software update to rectify the glitch in the iOS 26.2? Or are there any other solutions I may try? Thanks.

Perhaps a long shot:

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. Updates sometimes need to have VPN to be removed and reinstalled. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.
