Are you referring to this Support Site? There have been some changes made including when you create a post. Before you had to enter a Title and then add your comments, but now you just enter your comments and a suggested title is created for you. There is an option to change the created title if you wish.

Thanks. I could not find any way to contact them from the site
From Apple's website Apple scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the contact Apple link or any other link that meets your contact needs.

When I click on the Contact Apple link at the bottom of the page I get Contact - How to Contact Us - Apple
which contains multiple ways to contact Apple.
There is a Support link at the bottom left of the page we are now on.
Does that show? Work?
What is your country or region? No all regions may have the same contact options or webpage layout.
Where does this link take you?:

I know this sounds weird, but I wonder if there is a fake Apple site? I can't believe i looked for over an hour and did not find something so obvious
If you just "googled" apple support, then it certainly is possible that one of the results was a fake site. Unfortunately a scammer can pay Google for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to have their results appear closer to the top and there have been fake tech support scams that have shown up there. Google does not take responsibility for the results you see which does seem at odds with how they are ranked.
And of course there are phishing scams from emails/messages that can include links that may take you to a site that looks like an official Apple Site, but on closer inspection of the URL you can see that is not the case.

Thank you. I know this seems unbelievable, but that was not there.

The support link containing contact info is also located in the page top menu.
