You can check their authenticity by putting the serial number in this Apple webpage: View device coverage and benefits. If it takes the S/N you're good.

While Apple maintains a Store Front on Amazon, usually you would be dealing with a third party unauthorized seller where it would not be possible to verify authenticity. Anyway as long as you are happy with them, that is all that matters. If you are suspect or having problems, then return them or contact Amazon for assistance.

Of course counterfeiters just copy the boxes of legitimate devices, so even if looks exactly like an original provided by Apple, the AirPods could still be fake. The only way to know for sure is to buy from Apple or Authorized Apple Seller.

From what I can find on MTJV3LL/A AirPods, it appears to be a genuine box (images found online for the MTJV3LL/A match your images).

Boxes can be copied. Seals can be copied. Serial numbers can be copied. Purchases can be locked, too.

What to do? Buy only from a trusted seller, or otherwise seek a big discount for the risk you’re taking.

if you didn’t buy them directly from Apple or and authorized Apple reseller the probability is high that they are counterfeit or stolen.

The fact that you are asking the question means you likely got them from a shady source or store, especially if the price was too good to be true. buyer beware as always.

Amazon often uses commingled bins of products, and the contents of those bins cross sellers.

That means your order might get a box directly from Apple, or might get a box loaded into the commingled bin from TotsLegitNoScams containing, well, whatever AirPods or whatever rocks TotsLegitNoScams provided.
