AirPods Maxes don't show up on bluetooth after factory reset

My AirPods Maxes are not showing up on my bluetooth. For the past few weeks, the automatic head detection wouldn't work and I would have to factory reset them multiple times for them to work. Today, the same issue happened. It took me at least 5 tries to reset them without the amber light blinking several times. After the successful factory reset, I pressed the Noise Control button a few times and every time I did it showed a white flash then a green one, yet it still wasn't showing up on my Bluetooth list after forgetting the device. The AirPods Maxes are fully charged, factory resetted, but the Bluetooth/Automatic head detection still doesn't work. I'm not sure what to do, because the warranty has also expired.
