iCloud sync issue: Shortcuts disappeared from iPhone

Apple Watch Shortcuts iCloud sync issue? How to recover shortcuts?

I recently purchased an Apple Watch but have had a major issue.

After setting up and pairing watch, l set a complication to run a shortcut.

However, it just kept opening the shortcuts app. I could search the desired shortcut but it was not working.

I then checked my Shortcuts App on iPhone and found that all my shortcuts had disappeared! checked my Mac and they're all gone too.

I have some shortcuts set up via the action button, automations and assistive touch on my iPhone and they still work. I can still also search all my previous shortcuts on Apple Watch (but cannot use them, it defaults to opening the shortcuts app when set as a complication).

My iPad was not connected to the internet and still has all my previous shortcuts listed. I don't have any other back ups.

How I can retrieve/restore my previous shortcuts? Seems like an iCloud sync issue?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

unpairing and re-pairing apple watch

toggling iCloud (Shortcuts) on/off

Apple Watch Series 11

Mac Mini (M1)

iPad Pro 12.9 (M1)

iPhone 16 pro max

All running the latest software
