Apple Music (1.3.6.14) play count NOT registering last song in playlist

Apple Music iMac Application is not registering a play on the last song (only) in a playlist when the sound output is linked to an external device via WiFi or Bluetooth.

However when playing direct from the iMac with all external devices disconnected, the play count for the last song in the same playlist registers.

It appears that there is a glitch in the external link processes.

My temporary work-around is to add another song to the end of a playlist that registers the end of the playlist (usually a different genre as an audio alarm) which then resolves the play count on the intended playlist.

My iMac is only able to run Ventura 13.7.8, therefore I am can only use Music (1.3.6.14) and this preference toggle option is not available in the Music Preferences pane. Have to take your word that this is resolved in the latest versions. Anyway I have a work around, though it is not very sophisticated. More a minor annoyance.

On a related topic, I have also shortened some song time lengths manually as well (eg cut some extended live applause), yet Music still sends the full music length when connected to external audio sources regardless, but when playing the shortened song natively (solely) on the iMac, Music respects the manual modification of the song length. Again, another minor annoyance.
