Airpods 4 ANC do not playing media sound such as music app amd streaming apps, but calls work on my Samsung S21. Media sound works on everything else, like work windows PC and my personal iphone 15pro. The media sound works at first after pairing to the Samsung device, but than stops after a while. I've done bluetooth resets multiple times and airpods reset as well. As usual, works at first, then stops.
Re-enable the Media Audio profile (most common fix)
On the S21:
If it's already ON, toggle it OFF → ON anyway to force a reset.
👉 When the phone gets stuck in call-mode, the Media Audio toggle becomes logically “ON” but isn’t actually active. Toggling fixes it.
When you connect it, it says just "Calls" or "Media & Calls"?
Have an S23 and have same issue with new AirPods 4 ANC.
They work first time after reset, but then they not. Call sound is working but no media sound.
Tried the suggested but didn’t fixed the problem.
The AirPods 3 worked fine.
Pretty annoying. Probably going to return them, since I dont think there going to be a fix from Apple or Samsung :-(
