I get emaldcsnd texts that have purchased something with my Apple Pay or an attempt was made to set up another account
it is very confusing and I am always afraid that the charges have really been made so I call Apple directly to check and xidpitd
I am not happy about receiving so many phishing texts about purchases or attempts they say were made with an amount charged to me . I know they are phishing but you can never be sure that the charge wasn’t put towards your account I am tired of feeling like I have to consciously think about calling Apple to verify that I wasn’t charged and I feel like I can’t just ignore because maybe it did go thru
Welcome to the 21st century. Get rid of your telephone and you won't get text messages. Even if you do not give your number to anyone at all you will still get spam because a number generator just goes through all the possible combinations and your turn will eventually come up. If the phone companies charged 5 cents for each text you sent then it would cut back some because the spammers probably wouldn't want to send a million phishing texts if they had to pay for them all. I get about 1 text per month but that's because only 3 people in the world know my phone number.
