Read this support article about what to do if a iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen -->

If your iPhone or iPad was stolen - Apple Support

- The Find My service described in the article is the only recovery feature Apple offers. It must be set up before the device is lost.

- Note that if you remotely erase your device as instructed in this article, if you subsequently remove it from your account as in this article --> Check your Apple Account device list to find where you’re signed in - Apple Support , then according to this article --> How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support you remove activation lock from the device. Do not remove it from your account. If you do then a finder or thief will have an unlocked device that can be used by another person.

Read these support articles to find out how to use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item. Click here --> How to find your lost iPhone or iPad - Apple Support and Use Find My to locate your lost Apple device or AirTag - Apple Support

- A person can use the Find My app on a device owned by someone in their Family Sharing group.

- Alternatively, anybody can sign into https://www.icloud.com/find to locate their device using a browser. You don't need a two-factor code if you use any internet browser and log into www.icloud.com/find

Note that the address must include the "/find" as shown above.

Hi there, is not my phone actually, is my fiancee. I am trying to locate her phone in order for me to locate her. I dont have her apple ID. Can apple support or any members able to assist me in this. I have a plane ready, once I know her location .

If your fiancee is missing, you go to her friends or family or if you are concerned for her safety, the police. Apple will NOT help you find someone, nor will they ever track someone's phone. This is not an Apple matter, but one for the authorities.

Do you know the name of the cellular carrier that is being used with the iPhone? The carrier may be able to locate the phone using their network of cell towers.

The carrier will usually only assist in cases of missing persons or other emergencies....and....the carrier will need a court order to initiate a search.

There are no guarantees that this will work, but it is a possible option. You will need to get the police involved with this.

I will stress again that you will not be able to find the phone unless Find My was enabled on the missing phone and the phone has an Internet connection. In addition, you must have the Apple ID that the phone was using and the password for that Apple ID in order for Apple's systems to help.

Assuming that Find My was enabled on the missing phone........

https://www.icloud.com/find on any browser

Enter the Apple ID (now called Apple Account) Name and Password associated with the missing iPhone

What happens?

"No Device Found".......unfortunately, Find My was not enabled on the missing phone. No way to locate the phone online

"Offline"......the battery has run down, the phone was powered off, or the phone does not have an Internet connection where it is located. Keep trying a few times each day to see if the status of the phone has changed.
