Concerns about potential scam email from gym on iPad

Got a I pad, about 3 years old,up to date on software updates…Gym sent email, ‘find out what kind of gym bunny you are and win £s’ I got a bit suspicious after reading about scam emails. Now i dont think it was them, as they have no competitions going on. I’m now worried. Though I just answered some daft questions, to find out my answer, then got told been entered,and that was it! I put email in trash after….

As long as you did not enter any financial or personal information including passwords, the worst that can happen is you will get more emails, since it has been determined that the email went to an active account.


I would only be concerned if you got a follow up email that said you won and they need your bank account number to deposit your winnings, or a phone number has been provided to call and they request your account number..
