As long as you did not enter any financial or personal information including passwords, the worst that can happen is you will get more emails, since it has been determined that the email went to an active account.

I would only be concerned if you got a follow up email that said you won and they need your bank account number to deposit your winnings, or a phone number has been provided to call and they request your account number..

Check with the gym. They can confirm if it’s genuine and if it’s not you’ve alerted them to the fact that they may have been hacked.

So if you put in any details like you card info, disable all purchases on the card and report and stolen goods like your ID or info to fraud protection or if it escalates go to police or cybersecurity centres to retrieve and protect your information
