I’m duplicating the behavior on a 6s also running 15.8.5.
Specifically: I can shop, select, and place items in the Bag normally. After that, there is no apparent way to review the bag or continue onward to complete the purchase.
Unfortunately, the preferred method — running the Apple Store app — requires an iPhone capable of running iOS 18 (or 26).
