Hide My Email is a service that's included with an iCloud+ subscription. With Hide My Email, you can generate unique, random email addresses that automatically forward to your personal inbox, so you can keep your email address private. You can create as many email addresses as you need.

You are in charge of your email address/Password with these considerations:

• Don't reuse passwords and never use your Apple Account password on another service.
• Emailing and replying to an email will give your email address to the party you are communicating with. Apple provides a service called Hide My Email to prevent that.
• When you use your email address to create an account on any third party service, such as Facebook, Amazon, Instagram, etc, they now have your email and you have lost control over what they do with it. Hide my Email is also useful in this case.
• Review the terms of your email provider. For example if your provider is gmail, then Apple has no control over what that provider does with your email address.
• Be cautious of any phishing message and NEVER call a number or click a link from an email/message and provide your email address or password. Some may appear to come from Apple and they are actually scammers. You can always contact Apple directly for any concerns without any response from an email/message.
