Trying to set up kids phone and it says I’m not sharing my location with her (and I am) to allow/see requests. All my location settings are “on” so how can I get to approve the things she wants (YouTube) for example?!?! Been on find my and normal settings and she still doesn’t show, she doesn’t have a phone number yet so is this why? Thanks in advance.

You cannot approve your child’s app requests because Family Sharing is not completing the location-linking step required for Ask to Buy. Ensure your child is in your Family group, enable location sharing within Family settings, allow location under Screen Time, toggle Ask to Buy, and sign the child’s device out/in if needed. A phone number is not required.
