Be Wary of Virtual Card

How do I get my money off of my virtual card? I thought I was putting it in Cash, but it ended up on the virtual card, of which I was unaware. Now that I have read up on the virtual card, I KNOW I would not have selected it on purpose - it seems to be mainly for Apple purchases and not much good for anything else. So I want my money, I can't use it, I can't get it off the card except to purchase something from Apple, so that means Apple has essentially ROBBED me. When I try to contact Apple, I have only set options to tell them what is wrong, so I can't get to them that way either. The only response I've gotten from Apple is how to get money back on gift cards - ??????? Has anyone else had this problem? Do I have to go to the police and tell them I've been robbed?

Clearly you put money on your Apple Account vice AppleCash.

And you are correct, funds on an Apple Account are indeed non-refundable.

But humans make mistakes. (And nobody “robbed” you)

Contact Official Apple Support, explain your misunderstanding and see if they’ll issue you a refund.
