Unable to sync Mac Music Library to iPhone X

I own iPhone X, Mac Monterey and a Windows 11 PC. After purchasing a brand new USB cable, I could not connect my iPhone to the Mac. The phone registered the connection, but not the computer. Sick and tired of streaming problems while driving, since the Navigation habitually tries to connect with Apple Music, I thought I would drag and drop my Apple Music Library on my Mac into the same app on the iPhone. Then, I was able to connect on my Windows 11. There I have an app called Apple Devices; but I don't know what it does. It just opens to an iPhone image. I also have iTunes and Apple Music. These three apps got onto my Windows due to an iPhone OS update that I could not install any other way a few months back. On Windows, the iPhone showed folders with photo images. Probably other text files are in the cloud somewhere. The Libraries for the music apps only showed one album that I purchased through the iTunes Store. It did not show the content I have on the Mac. Is there some app that assures Apple device connections between iPhone and Apple computers? The App Store has a bunch of them; but I am not sure which ones are official. My main task is to get my Mac Music Library onto the iPhone. Thanks to the community in advance.

I just got around this today; but the disappointing lack of participation here didn't help. Today I did what I didn't want to do. I switched cords, using the one I usually use just for charging. Why the new cord didn't work I do not understand. However, the older cord worked and I did the sync through Finder. The Help feature in Apple Music said what to do when the USB connection doesn't work.
