Apple Card declined by Amazon despite zero balance
My Apple GS mastercard was declined by Amazon. My Apple card has a zero balance. What can cause the decline and how to fix it so I can make purchases?

I did a web search about Amazon not accepting Apple Card Mastercard. It appears to have been a pretty isolated issue a few years ago which seems to have been a technical interface issue and not a corporate policy. I don't think it is a blanket policy because otherwise I would expect to see hundreds if not thousands of "hits" on the subject.
