Mail app on iMac displaying wrong headers

This past year, the mail program on my iMac has started displaying the wrong headers- I've seen this addressed in older threads but they seemed to be about iCloud mail or Outlook. This is mail downloaded from a different provider, and it displays fine on my iPhone and iPad. It's not a huge deal, other than having to use my phone to go through junk mail; on the desktop, I have to open every message to be sure I'm not deleting something I need. It's more an annoyance and if there is an easy fix, please let me know:) I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Perhaps a screen shot that shows us what you are referring to may help. Another option (which I highly recommend) is calling AppleCare. With your permission they can see your screen and then you can show them where the issue is and they can fix it. To find the phone number that services your country click AppleCare Contact Info , select your country and the phone number will appear.

Thank you for the response. Below is an example, the top one is from Levi's with a correct subject header, but the email body is from the Cornell Lab message just below it--that message body is what should have been in the Levi's email. Normally not a big deal because it's junk, but many times it's not junk and I have to actually look at the message instead of just the sender before I delete.
