Are you referring to an AirTag like in your tagline or a Apple device?
For a device:
- Go to Settings > General > About > Name
- Change the name of the device there.
For the AirTag:
- Open FindMy
- Choose Items
- Select AirTag
- Scroll to the bottom where you will see Rename Item.
