AirPods Feature: Bilateral Hearing Accessibility

I've been asking for this feature for years, and it seems to fall on deaf ears. Literally.

There is a significant number of us that suffer from Bilateral Hearing Loss. Which means one of our ears just doesn't work, or doesn't work well.

It would be AMAZING for Apple to enable a "Cross-Hearing" feature that takes the sound coming in from both sides and merge it to a single side (Left or Right).

Currently it takes expensive hearing aids to do this, but since the AirPods are already post-processing the sound I can't imagine it would be difficult to merge them together and put them on a single left or right channel.

This enables the user to essentially "hear" from 360° which would be physically impossible with a deaf side.
